Toronto

These "Hecklers" were giving it to the boys outside the former Sky Dome now known as the Rogers Center.  For those who like Justin Bieber, he was performing here on Saturday night.  We passed on the concert.
Next was the trip up the CN Tower which was quite scary with the glass floor on the elevator, but since it was quite cloudy, it was not as frightening as it would have been on a clear Toronto day.  Here are Owen, Finn, and cousin Peyton on the glass floor at the top of the tower.  Charlie was gun shy and would not stand on the floor. I John preferred to stay on the ground due to fear of heights! Some facts about the CN Tower: it gets hit 75 times a year by lightning; 1774 steps if you want to walk it; and twice a year they race up and down these steps for charity
We also stopped at the Real Sports Bar which as the largest television screen in North America for a sports bar along with another 199 tv's for your viewing pleasure.  What a place to watch the NFL on Sunday and what a great atmosphere to host a Super Bowl party!!
All the cousins together before the Turners head out on Monday to Niagara Falls and then off to Pennsylvania.  Cousin Presley having a quick cookie before bed time.  Need a good night sleep as we are in for a 10 hour drive tomorrow.  We had a great time in TO and thank Chris and Cate for the great hospitality.  One funny tidbit:  I went to gas up and the person behind me stopped to tell me they were originally from Tignish.  On another pit stop to pick up munchies for the afternoon NFL games, a man pulls up to our truck to tell us he is originally from Summerside, but moved to TO when he was six.  Funny if we keep bumping into Islanders!

Cheers, John
