We woke up bright and early to see the sunrise over the Canyon before we head to Sedona. Well worth it. Our pictures don't do it justice. As we approached our chosen lookout we found ourselves with a small group of committed nature seekers, who braved the crackling cold. (-20)
This is just prior to sunrise...
Slowly, the sun finds its way into the canyon...
and brings a smile to all who waited patiently.
Another gorgeous day awaits.

Farewell Grand Canyon. We sure understand why it is one of the seven wonders of the world.
