Memories of France

The Eiffel tower: It was so much bigger then I thought it would be. There were lots of tourists and long lines to go up the tower.

The metro is an underground train that goes zooming fast. You have to be very careful of "les pickpockets" (this is a new favourite word for me and my brothers, just like in the Tintin books).  We took the metro everywhere around Paris.
Charlie holding the Eiffel tower. haha!

Charlie enjoying a nice crêpe au chocolat. This is a very popular snack in Paris. My dad liked the Croque Monsieur.
Right under the Eiffel tower, it was cool.

Sign of beware of the pickpockets, like I said, Paris has lots of them!
                                           L'Arc- de- Triomphe
On the top of  L'Arc de Triomphe with Les Champs Elysés behind us. There are 12 roads that branch out from the Arc de Triomphe so it is like a sun and its rays. The Champs Elysés is one of the roads.  It has very expensive shops.

Louis Vuitton is the most expensive shop I have ever seen.
Bakery in Monmartre.  Our friend Julie took us to her favourite bakery.

This is Chantilly Castle, near our friend Julie's house. It is big.

Chocolat chaud et café avec la crème Chantilly. C'était délicieux.

Julie took this picture of us

We had fun with Julie, Stéphane and Hadèle. They have a beautiful house.  We are off to England now to see our cousins but first we have a stop in Frankfurt. That is in Germany but we will only be in the airport.
